SUN The Sun is the star at the center of the Solar - system, ' The HEART of our Solar - system'. It is a yellow dwarf star. The Sun gives life to the Earth and the Earth would have no life at all without the energy it receives from the Sun. WHAT IS THE SUN MADE OF? All stars are made out of gas and plasma.
